HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

Gurugram Public School a school with a vision of traditional, educational ethics was established in June 2001, with an eye on blending the rich Indian cultural heritage and the modern pedagogy. The school is managed and guided by the raghyvanshi Trust. It is blooming under the watchful eyes of Padamshree Dr. R.S.Lugani who has been the founder Principal of DPS, R.K.Puram, New Delhi and has been a legend in himself. The school remains a step ahead in its mission of nurturing the future citizens of not only our country but also abroad and thus has a global outlook.

From a humble beginning Gurugram Public School has progressed rapidly. Desides upgrading to class XII in its existing building the school has acquired an additional 3.5acres of land for further expansion. The construction work at the new sight has already started. The school has able, enthusiastic, optimistic and committed teachers who work tirelessely to impart value-based education to the children along with a scientifically devised curriculum. Classes are held in every subject through an exciting blend of innovative and interactive sessions. Theoretical concepts are supported by practical applications.

Various hobby classes and competitions help develop a harmonious attitude and personality, as students are prepared for a life of challenge and purpose.

The school programme is designed to help its students become :

The school boasts of its excellent dance and music (vocal & instrumental) facilities to prepare students on the cultural front. The school also has well equipped Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Geography labs which aims at making our students Scientists, Naturalists, Geologists and Geographers as per their inclination.

Shortly the school is programming for an English language lab(Audio / Visual lab).

We aim at total personality development of our children. Special days like Grand Parents Day, Mother's Day, Environment Day, Health Day, Literary Day etc. are celebrated as per the occasion in the form of Special Assemblies to highlight their talent. Be it a talk on garbage disposal, afforestation, pollution control or traffic rules, our children are aware and give in their best. Thus, our children are 'Total Quality Pupils'.
